Watched Delhi6 n "Ooooooooooooh Myyyy GooooooooooooooooooD!" What was that? Wht is with Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra/ ROPM????!!!!!!! After RDB this is not wht we expected! I even got a head ache watchin that crap....
There is nothin at all there.... The movie jus drags thru a series of uninteresting events n dialogues..... There is AB who goes around endlessly thru gallis (sometimes real sometimes shot in a set) tellin "Kool" "Kool"!!!! He sounds too pretentious n doesn’t look nor sound like a guy bought up completely in the US.
There’s the Ramleela which is shown at regular intervals, theres the beautiful Sonam walkin around n attending Indian Idol Auditions, above all there is the stupid monkeyman story which is shown again n again that, by the end it gets on ur nerves!!!!!
I vaguely remember the monkey man legend that was doin rounds a couple of year’s back, what abt people who don’t remember that at all? They would be even more confused/ irritated with the monkeyman story!
Above all, there was no justice done to the awsum music by Rehman. The songs play suddenly out of the blue. In the "Genda Phool" song sequence u can even see that the lip sync by the actors are not right! The beautiful "Rehna Tu" song plays at such an irrelevant time that you wouldnt even notice that it was played. I would say that its a crime to do injustice to such a wonderful song.... Picture this, ABs grandmom faints one day n is taken to the hospital... next thin you see is AB walkin around with "Rehna tu" playin in the Background!!!! Looks like it was played referin to Delhi or whatever!
The climax is louzy too!!!!!! It jus deserves a 1 1/2 star for this crap!
Looks like RDB was an accident by ROPM :-(

Dev D!
I watch tons of movies, so I tought il discuss a couple of movies on this blog :-)
Watched this movie on satrdy... I dint wanna miss this Abhay - Kashyaps very stylish film.... The music was Awsum but, Im not the type who would watch a movie for the songs alone.....
The name of this movie was Dev - D and it was said to be a modern take on Devdas....It had got mixed responses from the critics, some had given it a 5/ 5Rating!!!!
After watchin the movie I would say that it is not Devdas AT ALLL!!!!!! There are way tooo many variations from the original story...... variations to the point that its not Devdas anymore!!!
The movie is undeniably appreciable for the effort to make smthing so different....The technique is good.... The first part was pretty good n it keeps u engaged. Later on it feels like the trailor that you watched on TV is playin again n again..... Can u beleive tht its got 18 Tracks!!!!! Thank God they are not mouthed by the actors.... It just plays in the background... and there are hardly any dialogues! The total dialogues could be for around 15 minutes!!!
I would give it a 3/5 rating for the effort. What was missin in this is that, it was told to be Devdas n it dint have the emotions that is indicative of Devdas. The love between Devdas, Paro and between Devdas, Chanda never came accross either in the sequences nor was it emoted by the actors. On mentionin this, some say that in modern times, this is how love is!!!!
K anyway good effort!!!!!!
